INSTALLATION

CAUTION. The initial flow of water from the shower rose will be extremely hot.

The heat exchanger "inlet A" and "outlet B" connections should be installed between the vehicle engine and the cabin heater control valve. It is suggested that "outlet B" be at the top to ensure that the maximum amount of hot water will flow through the unit. Suitable rubber hoses with bends to suit "inlet A" and "outlet B" can be obtained from Repco or other motor accessory suppliers, or use 5/8" (16mm) rubber heater hose.

When installed, run engine at about 1000 RPM until engine water runs from "outlet B". This will ensure that air is not trapped in the heat exchanger. Then connect heater hose or 5/8" (16mm) rubber hose to "outlet B".

Be sure to top up radiator after installation.

OPERATION

Start engine and allow it to reach normal operating temperature. Adjust heater control in the vehicle cabin to the hottest setting and, by using the vehicle throttle, increase engine revs to 1200 to 1400 RPM. Turn on pump switch to generate a supply of cold water.

CAUTION: The initial flow of water from the shower rose will be extremely hot.

If the shower water is too hot, adjust heater control to a cooler setting and/or slow engine revs.

Further temperature adjustment can be obtained by using the flow control switch on the shower hand piece. Less water passing through the shower will make it hotter. More water passing through the shower will make it cooler.

WARNING

1a. If the incoming cold water is switched off, even for a brief moment, and then switched on again, while the engine is running, a burst of very hot water will flow from the shower rose.

1b. This burst of hot water can be dangerous to any user.

3a. Wait at least 60 seconds before using the hot shower.

2. The usage and installation of this product is entirely at the users own risk.
